MANAGEMENT OF NATURAL AREAS
Ekos Estudios Ambientales, S.L.U. carries out the monitoring of threatened wildlife, linked to forest management plans that include specific measures for biodiversity conservation.
GAME MANAGEMENT TECHNICAL PLANNING
Ekos Estudios Ambientales, S.L.U. has been carrying out game management plans for more than 30 years.
WILDLIFE STUDIES
We conduct studies on the dynamics of species populations, such as the Mediterranean Tree Frog (Hyla meridionalis), a species on which Ekos Estudios Ambientales, S.L.U. has been working for over 18 years.
MONITORING OF THREATENED WILDLIFE POPULATIONS
Within the actions of the Sand Martin (Riparia riparia) Management Plan in the province of Alava, in 2009 an artificial colony was built on the grounds of the Provincial Council of Alava in Mendixur, next to the Ullibarri-Ganboa reservoir, as a result of the decrease in the number of breeding sites and the shortage of natural slopes. In 2010 this artificial colony was occupied by Sand Martins, being the first place in Spain where such an experience has been successful. Since then, the colony has continued to be occupied, showing an increase in the number of breeding pairs and their importance in the framework of the conservation of the breeding population in Alava. Throughout this period, different works have been carried out, related both to the monitoring of the species and the maintenance of the structure of the colony, as well as the surrounding areas.
GAME SPECIES MONITORING
Ekos Estudios Ambientales, S.L.U. has coordinated the monitoring of the wintering population of the Woodpigeon (Columba palumbus) in the Iberian Peninsula over 20 years. More than 12 different administrations in Spain, Portugal and France and hundreds of forestry and technical agents have participated in it over the years.
SPECIES MANAGEMENT
Ekos Estudios Ambientales, S.L.U. have been working in the reintroduction of the Brown Hare (Lepus europaeus) in the Historical Territory of Gipuzkoa for more than 20 years.
When it is required by the project, Ekos Estudios Ambientales presents the results in congresses, conferences, forums, workshops, etc.

SOIL QUALITY, WASTE MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION ENTITY
By Resolution of December 3, 2007 of the Deputy Ministry of Environment of the Basque Government, Ekos Estudios Ambientales S.L.U. is accredited as an entity for research and recovery of soil quality within the framework of Decree 199/2006, of October 10.
Since , Ekos Estudios Ambientales S.L.U. is accredited by ENAC for the activities included in the UNE-EN ISO / IEC 17020 standard, for inspection activities in the area of the environment.
