The entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2024/1991 on nature restoration sets a new benchmark for compliance and ecological ambition. At Ekos, we translate these binding objectives into comprehensive technical projects for environmental restoration and landscape integration. We prepare all the documentation required for project execution — technical report, specifications, budget and detailed cartography — ensuring that each intervention not only complies with current regulations, but also contributes effectively to biodiversity recovery and the resilience of degraded ecosystems.
To achieve these goals, we apply advanced bioengineering criteria and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). Our technical expertise enables us to design interventions that stabilise slopes, restore riverbanks and recover ecological connectivity through the use of living materials and low-impact techniques. In this way, we ensure that environmental restoration and landscape integration measures go beyond the traditional aesthetic approach, helping to recover the ecological functionality of the land in line with the requirements of the new European framework.
